Community of Volunteers, Innovators and Doers (COVID) is a new initiative to identify, describe, and connect solution makers, problems solvers, and dreamers worldwide, and to highlight socially innovative ideas, concepts, entrepreneurial projects, and stories that contribute to overcoming the COVID-19 crisis.

Square Meter for Peace is pleased to present its first live online event in The Solution Series: a panel discussion on the issue of racism, which impacts all global citizens. During the session we will explore the issue of racism through a solution-based lens.

Each panelist will be asked to share with the current and next generation of leaders, activists and advocates, their perspective while offering perspectives in moving forward.
Participants will be invited to ask questions and engage in conversation with the panelist and each other at the end of the presentation.

Justice 4 Black Lives Rally
June 5, 2020
Thank you, miigwetch, salamat, obrigado,….. to the organizers of the Justice 4 Black Lives Rally. Thousands gathered here in Treaty One Territory in Winnipeg demanding change locally and globally.
Collectively, we must move toward a peaceful, equitable, and united world – but there is so much work that needs to be done. Anti-racism must be actively integrated in every aspect of our lives.
Let us harness the momentum of this movement and continue to learn (and unlearn), amplify black voices, and collectively progress toward a world that is equitable for all, and is free of social injustice.
